Eric Clapton leaves Bahrain spellbound

Eric Clapton, the true guitar numen, put a great performance last night at Al Dana Amphitheatre as the audience was gifted with a rare opportunity and occasion.
Fans were left spellbound as the iconic performer played several of his hit numbers. British national Steve Grigg, a great fan of Eric Clapton, said he has been desperately waiting for this day. “I am from the UK, where he is considered the best guitarist. He has no parallels in music and fan following.”
Clapton’s performance of “Bad Love” earned him a Grammy Award in 1991 for Best Rock Vocal Performance. Eric Clapton an English rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter is widely regarded as one of the most important and influential guitarists of all time.
Clapton ranked second in Rolling Stone’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” and fourth in Gibson’s “Top 50 Guitarists of All Time”. He was also named number five in Time magazine’s list of “The 10 Best Electric Guitar Players” in 2009.
