Pinay Ikaw Na! wins Marilag Award in Bahrain

Filipino community organisation Pinay Ikaw Na! is the recipient of the 2022 Marilag Award in Bahrain.
Pinay Ikaw Na! is an organisation of Filipino women in Bahrain that has been actively involved in charitable activities, particularly assisting distressed Filipinos who need medical and financial assistance.
Through its many initiatives, Pinay Ikaw Na! has introduced proactive changes for the betterment of self and the community.
They have also demonstrated confidence, and conducted meaningful engagements to ensure that they empower others. As the Marilag Awardee from Bahrain, Pinay Ikaw Na! will compete for the Marilag Overall Winner to be awarded by the OWWA Headquarters in Manila.
As part of the 2022 National Women’s Month celebration, the Philippine Embassy together with Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)-Bahrain handed over the award to the organisation on 16 March at the embassy lobby.
