Arts plays an important role in elevating societies so Bahrain’s next focus will be on holding many art exhibitions as an essential platform for presenting the intellectual, creative and artistic production of young people and artists.
“Organising exhibitions at this time faces many challenges, but we must move forward and cross our societies towards safety after all that the pandemic has left in the memory of people from different parts of the world,” Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, National Council for Arts chairman, said.
“The revival of art exhibitions is evidence of life returning to normalcy and stability, and we must be optimistic about what lies ahead as we move forward.” Shaikh Rashid inaugurated the third edition of the “On the Wall” exhibition, a dedicated event to promote Bahrain’s artists to the wider community.
The National Council for Arts will work on organising more arts exhibitions and attracting wider and more diversified participation, he added. “Exhibitions are an opportunity to display creative and artistic work,” Shaikh Rashid said.
