Industry Ministry inspects shops in Bahrain ahead of Ramadan

Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism said it continues its efforts to welcome the month of Ramadan with monitoring measures as part of its inspection plan for various food outlets and stores in all governorates of Bahrain.
Assistant Undersecretary for Control and Resources Abdulaziz Mohammed Ali Al Ashraf said that the Inspection Department continued its inspection tours by visiting the shops concerned with the sale of herbs and spices in the Manama market. The visit revealed the abundance of products, their diversity and the safety of the commercial activities.
The ministry will continue its control plan by covering the shops that are popular in the holy month, in addition to inspection visits to complexes and shopping centers to cover the largest number of commercial activities. Al Ashraf stressed the need for shops to adhere to rules of promotions and product diversity and stressed the government measures to ensure providing a suitable stock of products and foods for Ramadan.
