National issues focus of Royal Speeches, says Bahrain King

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said that national issues were the focus of his keynote speeches, hailing the crucial role played by Bahrainis in the Kingdom’s development, progress and modernisation march.

His Majesty said this as he received Advisor to HM the King for Media Affairs, Nabil bin Yacoub Al-Hamar at the Al-Sakhir Palace. Al-Hamar presented HM the King with a book that documents the Royal keynote speeches between 2014 and 2020.

The book was prepared by the Media Affairs Department at the Royal Court, under the supervision of Al-Hamar and in cooperation with the Information Affairs Ministry. The book-- fourth in a series-- is part of a project to document the Royal speeches.

Nabil Al-Hamar said the Royal speeches represent Bahrain's modern history and achievements in the educational, social, cultural and economic fields.

He expressed pride in the speeches, which, he said, laid the foundations for the development process in the Kingdom and included Bahrain’s stances vis-à-vis various developments.

Al-Hamar said the Royal speeches constitute a reference for researchers and those interested in the history of the Kingdom.
