BACA President in Islamic conference
President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa took part yesterday in the opening of the 9th session of the Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers which convened in Muscat, Oman.
It was held under the theme “Towards a Moderate Culture Favouring Muslims Societies’ Development”.
The audience approved Muharraq as “the Capital of Islamic Culture” given its rich cultural and historical heritage. Shaikha Mai stressed Bahrain’s success to take advantage of its rich heritage and glorious civilisation to ensure sustainable development.
