Indian Ambassador Piyush Srivastava yesterday expressed happiness and significant opening up and removal of covid restrictions in Bahrain, which the envoy said reflects the "excellent handling of Covid-19 pandemic" by the Government of Bahrain.

Srivastava further expressed hope that the embassy could hold the next open house in a physical or hybrid format. The comments came as the Indian Ambassador interacted with community members on consular and labour issues during a virtual open house.
