Indian dies of heart attack
A long-time Bahrain resident died of a heart attack this morning at his Manama residence. Daniel Tharakan, 44, is survived by his wife Deepa, daughters Nikita (15), Neha (6) and son Johan (13).
Mr Tharakan who hails from Thevalakkara, in Kollam from the south Indian state of Kerala, was an active member of the Bahrain Marthoma Parish. He has been in Bahrain for around 15 years and worked at Hawar Auto Service in Um Al Hassam as a sales manager.
It is ironic to note that on June 15 he had shared an article on surviving heart attack in his Facebook account. More details will be updated later.
