HM King Hamad recounts rich Bahraini heritage

Reflecting on the rich ancestry of the Kingdom, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa lauded the love, fraternity and solidarity bonding all Bahrainis. “The Kingdom will remain a one- family nation that embraces all its citizens,” HM the King remarked in a meeting with the Al Jabr Family at Al Sakhir Palace yesterday.

The Al Jabr Family visited HM the King to extend their sincere gratitude to him for his directives to name a key avenue in the Capital Governorate after the late Nasser bin Jabr Al Jabr. On the occasion, HM King Hamad expressed pride in the Arabian tribes, which have been related to the Bahrain rulers throughout the kingdom’s history.

HM the King praised their dedication in the service of the homeland and honourable patriotic stances embodying the genuine Bahraini values spearheaded by the forefathers and passed on to the posterity.

On behalf of Al Jabr tribesmen, Nasser bin Hamad bin Rashid Al Jabr expressed gratitude to King Hamad for issuing directives to name a main avenue in the Capital Governorate after their grandfather, the late Nasser bin Jabr Al Jabr.

Expressing the elation of the Al Jabr tribesmen over the Royal directives, he commented, “We follow in the footsteps of the late Nasser bin Jabr Al Jabr regarding national belonging, loyalty and national work.” “The Royal gesture reflects HM the King’s recognition of the history and contributions of the Al Jabr tribe to the kingdom’s national action.”

“It is badge of honour bestowed to us by HM the King as a token of appreciation towards loyal Bahrainis,” he added, stressing that the Royal honouring would motivate Bahrainis to carry on serving the national march of the kingdom.

He added that HM King Hamad’s tireless efforts to put the Kingdom of Bahrain in the world map of freedom, moderation, coexistence and human rights are the source of pride for all Bahrainis.
