NAO receives applause for its role in bringing transparency
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa lauded the National Audit Office (NAO)’s contribution to improve the performance of the ministries and government institutions in the interest of the homeland and citizen.
HM the King yesterday received National Audit Office (NAO)’s President Hassan Khalifa Al Jalahma in Al Sakhir Palace, who submitted the 2014/2015 Annual Audit Report. HM King Hamad pointed out the outstanding efforts and progress made by the NAO’s president and staff with respect to preserving public money, achieving credibility, independence and transparency.
The NAO’s Chief, following meeting with HM the King, said that he submitted the 2014/2015 Annual Audit Report.
He added the Annual Audit Report contains key observations and recommendations the NAO reached through the financial, administrative and performance work accomplished during the year 2014/2015.
