Half of Bahrain's government employees to telecommute during Ramadan

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today directed that up to 50% telecommuting is implemented for employees working across government ministries, agencies and institutions during the holy month of Ramadan.
The decision excludes those working across vital sectors, including security, health, electricity, water, civil aviation affairs and other agencies, with the emphasis on ensuring that services provided to citizens and residents are not affected by the decision.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister directed the Civil Service Bureau to issue the necessary circulars and instructions to the relevant ministries, agencies and government institutions.
