Bahrain Foreign Minister signs Joint Warm Peace Strategy with Israeli counterpart

rnMinister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani and the Israeli Foreign Minister, Yair Lapid, signed today the Joint Warm Peace Strategy between the two countries, on the sidelines of the Negev Summit at the invitation of the Israeli Foreign Minister.
rnThe strategy included strengthening joint cooperation through well-defined programmes to promote trade exchange and enhance communication between the peoples of the two countries, with a focus on the youth. It also aims to highlight joint relations as a model for inter-religious and cultural coexistence and tolerance. It also aims to support the efforts being exerted to promote peace in the Middle East and enhance security and stability in the region.
rnThe strategy also specified the main sectors that will come under focus within the course of joint action, including innovation, trade and investment, food and water security, climate change, renewable energy, health, educational and academic cooperation, digital security, and tourism.
rnBahraini Ambassador to Israel, Khaled Yousef Al-Jalahma, and Israeli Ambassador to Bahrain, Eitan Naveh, attended the signing.
