Murder trial to end on Dec 7
Closing arguments will be heard on December 7 in the trial of two men implicated in the death of their friend. The incident reportedly occurred during a heavy drinking session that saw the first defendant pushing the victim down the stairs to death on March 24 this year.
It happened after an argument in which the victim demanded the suspected killer to discontinue his relationship with his mistresses, according to court files. In a fit of rage, the accused shoved the victim, who landed on his head and died on the spot in the presence of the second accused.
After his death, the duo dragged the victim to a room before the third man reportedly robbed his mobile and sold it for only BD2 to buy liquor.
During investigations, the two denounced each other. The second defendant stated that his co-suspect was requesting the victim to leave his mistresses as he was bidding to have sex with her.
