Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) continues to push forward with its commitment to sustainability by issuing its staff with contactless business cards. Designed and supplied by UK-based company V1CE, these business cards feature Near Field Communication (NFC) technology that allows contactless data transfer between devices.

BIC’s V1CE business cards have been produced with environmentally friendly bamboo materials and are designed in the circuit’s own unique branding. BIC staff members can use the card’s NFC technology to share their information such as contact details and social media specifics by simply tapping the card against a smartphone.

No apps are required for the V1CE cards to work and they are compatible with all major smartphone brands and models, along with their operating systems. Laurence Jones, Senior Manager, Marketing and communications, and Bahrain International Circuit, said: “We are delighted to be working with V1CE, which has developed leading technology in this area, whilst the cards themselves are also responsibly sourced.”

Roger Hadley, Operation Manager, V1CE, said: “We are delighted to be officially linked with BIC and its partners to be part of the change to attain carbon neutrality within the region.”  BIC has joined the likes of Google, Emirates, Jumeirah and McDonald’s as world-renowned clients utilising the V1CE contactless business cards.
