HM King Hamad, HRH Prince Salman, GCC leaders exchange Ramadan greetings

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday exchanged greetings on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.

HRH Prince Salman prayed to Allah to protect HM King and fulfil his vision for this country, wishing further progress for Bahrain, the Arab and Islamic nations. His Majesty the King, in his reply, thanked HRH Prince Salman and prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect HRH.

HM King also conveyed Ramadan wishes to Bahrain, the Arab and Islamic nations. HM King then exchanged Ramadan wishes with leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council nations, the Arab and Islamic states.

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa exchanged Ramadan wishes during a telephone call with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Emir of Kuwait, HH Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of Egypt, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler and HRH Prince Moqrin bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Tabuk Region Governor, HRH Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz.

The leaders exchanged good wishes on the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan, wishing both countries and peoples and the Arab and Islamic nations many happy returns and further growth and prosperity.

His Majesty prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless them with all abundant health and happiness, wishing their countries many happy returns of the blessed occasion. His Majesty and HRH Crown Prince also received cables of congratulations from senior Royal Family members, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Shura Council Chairman, ministers, senior state officials, dignitaries, members of the Representatives and Shura councils, municipal councils’ members, governors, Bahraini ambassadors abroad, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Bahrain, heads of sports clubs and citizens on the holy month of Ramadan.

The National Guard Commander, General HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al. Khalifa, Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club Honorary President, HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa and Royal Court Affairs Minister HH Shaikh Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa also congratulated HM King.
