Bahrain ‘role model for coexistence, peace’

Bahrain, thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s wise visions, has adopted an advanced approach and become a role model for coexistence, peace and security. This was emphasised by Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal yesterday in a statement marking the International Day of Conscience, which is observed every April 5.

She highlighted Bahrain’s balanced policies and relations, moderation, exceptional initiatives to consolidate global peace, find solutions to conflicts and disputes. The Speaker also pointed out the Kingdom’s efforts to spread the spirit of human coexistence among peoples and societies, based on its solid legislative infrastructure and strategies of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, noting that such values are among the priorities of the kingdom’s national sustainable development efforts.

She praised Bahrain’s launch of such an important initiative related to the challenges currently faced by the entire humanity to ensure that the world enjoys peace, security, development and stability. Pioneering and exemplary role Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh underlined Bahrain’s pioneering and exemplary role in promoting peace, coexistence and dialogue.

He affirmed the humanitarian principles characterising the civilisational approach of HM the King, taking pride in the positive initiatives undertaken by the kingdom to foster tolerance and coexistence worldwide.
