The annual Heritage Festival returns this year in its 28th edition, as it will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. It will be inaugurated by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) on Thursday, near Arad Castle. The festival continues to present its activities during April 7-9, and 14-16, from 9pm until 12am.
The activities will highlight gold as a non-material Bahraini heritage, under the title "Our Golden Heritage". This year's festival presents a program that celebrates the non-material heritage of Bahrain, including traditional crafts, folk arts, and other events that are suitable for different ages.
The festival also takes the audience into an integrated Bahraini cultural experience with a display of many traditional and modern products by Bahraini entrepreneurs, in addition to traditional cafes offering traditional local dishes and food.
