HM King affirms Bahrain strong commitment to ‘global peace’

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has stressed Bahrain’s firm commitment to global stability through its foreign relations and humanitarian initiatives.

He emphasised that Bahrain is actively working to strengthen its strategic alliances and commercial partnerships with countries of the world, without exception.

“We will not deviate from this approach. We will always remain advocates of harmony and peace, striving to extend a helping hand as much as we can,” said HM the King.

HM was speaking as he received at Al Sakhir Palace yesterday Muharraq citizens marking the Holy Month of Ramadan. Present were His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa amd Supreme Council for Youth and Sports First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and BOC President HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and well wishes from the Governorat.

The well-wishers greeted HM the King and congratulated him on the Holy Month, wishing him good health, happiness and long life and Bahrain and its loyal people further progress and prosperity.

They expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to HM the King, hailing his keenness on reaching out to all citizens and caring for the Governorate of Muharraq.

HM the King delivered a speech in which he welcomed the audience during this blessed month of tolerance, amity and fraternity, wishing all people worldwide further progress and prosperity.

He singled out particularly the brotherly people of Russia and Ukraine, expressing the hope that they could overcome their dispute and reach a peaceful settlement based on their good intentions to protect their interests and restore security and calm in the region.
