Bapco heroes recognised at COVID-19 Appreciation Event

A number of Bapco employees were recognised at a COVID-19 Appreciation Event held on March 29 at Awali Hall for their relentless efforts and sacrifices in fighting the virus and preserving public health. Bapco Chief Executive Officer Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery expressed his sincere gratitude and admiration for the unrelenting efforts of those involved in ensuring a safe working environment for their employees, contractors and families.
Dr Jawahery’s opening address was followed by remarks from the Awali Hospital Chief Medical Officer, Dr Tariq Hameed, who also gave a word of thanks and appreciation. Dr Hameed praised the ongoing efforts by Bapco’s medical team in combatting the pandemic.
Acting Deputy Chief Executive-Technical and Chairman of the Crisis Management Team (CMT), Mr Hafedh Al Qassab, spoke about the outstanding achievements made by the team over the past few years.
Mr Al Qassab applauded the team spirit that was evident throughout the CMT’s efforts and shed light on the major accomplishments that were undertaken by the team.
During the event, Bapco’s Chief Executive Officer recognised the medical staff and Crisis Management Team members as well as support groups for their distinguished hard work during this pandemic and thanked them for keeping the Bapco family and the Kingdom of Bahrain safe.
