Speaker commends Bahrain and US strategic partnership

Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal has praised the strong and strategic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the US and their steady growth thanks to the care and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
She lauded the positive outcomes of the recent visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the US, stressing growing cooperation between the two friendly countries. The Speaker was speaking as she received yesterday the US Ambassador to Bahrain, Steven Bondy.
They reviewed bilateral relations and ways of boosting parliamentary ties between the two friendly countries. She underlined the role of the legislative branch in developing the legal system and upgrading legislation. Ambassador Bondy expressed appreciation for the meeting, commending strategic relations of friendship and cooperation between both countries. He also expressed keenness on further enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields.
