HM King Hamad ratifies law on pension, retirement benefits

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday ratified and promulgated Law (13) of 2022 on amending some provisions of Law No. (13) of 1975 with regards to the Regulation of Pension and Retirement Benefits for Government Employees, which has been approved by the Shura and Representatives Councils.
HM the King ratified and promulgated Law (15) of 2022 on amending some provisions of Decree-Law (11) of 1976 with respect to Retirement Pensions and Gratuities for Officers and Servicemen of the Bahrain Defence Force and Public Security, following its approval by the Shura and Representatives Councils.
His Majesty also ratified and promulgated Law (14) of 2022 on amending some provisions of the Social Insurance Law issued by Decree-Law (24) of 1976, following its approval by the Shura and Representatives Councils.
The Prime Minister and ministers, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this law which comes into force upon its publication HM the King in the Official Gazette.
