Bahrain airport customs arrested traveller with four kg of narcotics

Bahraini customs officers have arrested a man suspected of smuggling narcotics hidden under his clothes through Bahrain International Airport.
The man, an Asian national, the Head of the Muharraq Governorate Prosecution said, was caught while attempting to smuggle four kilograms of substance suspected to have mixed with narcotic substance.
The Public Prosecution said they are investigating the case based on a report of the arrest by the Anti-Narcotics Department.
The Prosecution said they had interrogated the suspect and ordered his pre-trial detention pending further investigation.
Authorities said they are now awaiting lab reports on the products seized from the suspect for further action.
