Bahrain Red Crescent Society holds annual Ramadan meeting

The Bahrain Red Crescent Society held its annual Ramadan meeting at its headquarters in the diplomatic area, under the patronage of its chairman, Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, in the presence of several board members and executive management, as well as about 100 of its members.
Mr Ali Mohammed Murad, Deputy Chairman of the Society, delivered a speech in which he thanked Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah for his support, which enabled it to continue its successes and promote relief and humanitarian work both inside and outside Bahrain.
He also extended thanks to the members of the Society’s Board of Directors and the General Administration, represented by Mr Mubarak Al-Haddi, as well as all other affiliates and volunteers, while emphasising the Society’s eagerness to strengthen partnerships with various governmental and private organizations and donors in order to carry out its ambitious initiatives.
Several members and voluntary organisations were honoured during the meeting for their efforts and support of the Society, notably during the pandemic, as well as their distribution of aid to needy families in various parts of Bahrain.
A video was also displayed, showcasing the activities and programs of the Society’s different volunteer committees.
