Eid Al Fitr on Monday in Bahrain

Bahrain will celebrate the first day of Eid Al Fitr on Monday corresponding to May 2, said the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA).
The moon-sighting panel convened this evening at the SCIA headquarters to receive news and testimonies confirming the birth of the Shawwal crescent.
The panel, which includes scholars Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Qattan, Dr Shaikh Fareed Yacoub Al Meftah and Dr Shaikh Ibrahim Al-Merrikhi said that tomorrow, Sunday, would be the last day of the holy month of Ramadan, as no testimonies were reported.
The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Royal Family, the people of Bahrain and the Islamic World on Eid Al Fitr for the Hijri Year 1443
