Tears of joy as Royal Pardon unites Bahraini families

Inmates and their families, who benefited from the Royal Pardon and alternative sanctions, expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday.
They thanked HM King for providing them with an opportunity to reintegrate into society and directing their energies to the right path.
HM King had issued a Royal Decree to release 160 inmates convicted in various cases and served part of their jail terms on the occasion of the Eid Al Fitr.
Families said HM King’s pardon, stemming from the spirit of fatherhood and love, contributed to their reunification.
The decision, they said, had brought happiness and joy to the hearts of mothers, fathers and people of Bahrain.
