Renowned singer Ahlam dazzles crowd at Al Dana Amphitheatre

Al Dana Amphitheatre, Bahrain’s newest and most exciting live entertainment destination, celebrated Eid in spectacular fashion with a dazzling concert by renowned singer Ahlam on 3 May.
With pre-show entertainment that included a live oud session and a traditional dance show (Ardah), the event had a festive, celebratory atmosphere, and drew an audience that spanned different generations.
The headline act, Ahlam, delivered a majestic performance that justified her place as the ‘queen’ of Arabic entertainment. Loved for her music as well as her TV appearances, she did not disappoint her fans, giving them an epic show that lasted more than three hours.
Arriving on stage in a floorlength, sparkly gown, Ahlam, kicked off the show with a heartfelt welcome message and proceeded to singing her special set, showcasing her distinctive, melodic voice, in a unique fusion of traditional and modern Arab music.
Supported by a backing group of dancers and an impressive orchestra lead by Maestro Ameer Abdulmajeed, Ahlam produced a uniquely elegant performance, with some of her most popular hits and timeless classics.
Her performance at Al Dana Amphitheatre was preceded by a lively show of traditional dancing, plus a live oud session that appealed to visitors young and old in celebratory mood. This blend of tradition, up-to-the-minute sound and lighting effects and happy Eid vibes made it a family-friendly night to remember.
Before leaving the venue, Ahlam expressed her gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for supporting the Kingdom’s efforts in initiating the artistic venue.
Full of pride to be standing before her fans during this special night, Ahlam expressed her joy towards the crowd and conveyed her gratitude towards the organising team, thanking them for their outstanding efforts which led to the success of the night.
The show was the penultimate event in Al Dana Amphitheatre’s fascinating season of events before the summer, which began last November and concludes on Friday, 13 May with a concert by legendary Saudi singer Mohammed Abdo.
Located in Sakhir, Al Dana Amphitheatre is set to become a regional industry leader through the creation of internationally recognised experiences further promoting the Kingdom as an essential entertainment destination and contributing to its economic growth.
