The Kingdom of Bahrain and Brazil are keen to expand trade, economic and explore more investment partnership. This came as Bahrain Ambassador to Brazil, Bader Abbas Al Halibi, participated in the forum titled “Expanding Commercial Partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Santa Catarina”.
It was organised by the Federation of Voluntary Business Associations in cooperation with the embassy and Federal Representative Caroline de Toni, in the presence of representatives of the Arab and Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, investment companies and a number of businessmen.
The Ambassador stressed the importance of this forum in strengthening the economic, trade and investment partnership between the two friendly countries, in light of the positive outcomes of the visit of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, to Bahrain at the invitation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa last November and the opening of the Brazilian Embassy in Manama.
The participants in the forum highlighted strong relations between Bahrain and Brazil and noted the investment opportunities between the two sides. They also lauded the economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries and reviewed means of enhancing them in the interest of both parties.
