HM King constant support for legislative branch hailed by Shura head

Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh has extended deepest thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his constant support which enables the legislative branch to carry out its role to the fullest.

Al Saleh was speaking during the last meeting of the Shura Council following the issuance of a royal order adjourning the fourth session of the fifth Legislative Term.

The Shura Council Chairman also expressed pride in the efforts exerted by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support the work of the National Assembly, praising the ongoing fruitful cooperation between the government and the Shura Council to achieve national goals.

He also extended thanks to the Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal and members for their continuous cooperation and coordination with the Shura Council. He also paid tribute to the Parliament Affairs Minister Ghanim bin Fadhl Al Buainain for his constant cooperation and keenness to attend the council’s weekly meetings.

Al Saleh also extended thanks to the Information Affairs Ministry and local newspapers for covering the Shura Council’s meetings and activities. He also commended the noble humanitarian efforts exerted by the National Medical Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus to address health challenges and protect the health of everyone.

Shura Council member Dr Mansoor Sarhan also delivered a statement on behalf of members. He extended deepest thanks and gratitude to HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for their unlimited support for the Shura Council, praising their sound directives to enhance executive-legislature cooperation, which yielded fruitful results for the nation and the citizens.

Parliament Affairs Minister also addressed the session. He expressed thanks and appreciation to the Shura Council Chairman and members for the outstanding efforts they have made during the fifth legislative term, leading to attaining numerous achievements to the kingdom, under HM the King’s leadership, thanks to the constant support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
