Bahrain, Morocco committed to expanding ties and cooperation

Bahrain and Morocco are committed to strengthening relations of cooperation and joint coordination at all levels to achieve the common interests of the two countries and peoples. This came as Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani yesterday held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat Daesh, hosted by Morocco.

During the meeting, Dr Al Zayani praised the historical bilateral relations in all fields in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco. The Moroccan Minister affirmed his country’s pride in the close relations that bind the two countries and peoples, and the development they are witnessing in all fields.

He praised the significant stances of Bahrain and its constant support for Morocco in all political, economic and development fields, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. The meeting also discussed the close brotherly relations between the two countries and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields, intensify joint coordination and unify positions towards various issues in regional and international gatherings.
