Coast guards arrest two men with 90kg of shrimp from Diraz

Two men were arrested with 90 kilogrammes of illegally caught fresh shrimp by Maritime Security Support Patrols at the Coast Guard Command.
Coast Guard officers said they caught the suspects from Diraz.
Bahrain prohibits catching, trading and selling of shrimps for six months, starting from February to July, each year, following a ministerial decision.
The decision aims at preserving marine resources and achieving sustainable development goals. Coast Guard said they took necessary measures.
The public Prosecution is pursuing legal actions.
