The Bahrain Meteorological Directorate forecasts generally fine weather this morning becoming dusty later, thickening at times with rising sand.
The heavy dust storm may reduce visibility and make it difficult to breathe for many.
Authorities have issued an alert for the above reasons and urged residents to avoid the outdoors.
Roads users and seafarers must remain cautious. The Civil Defence has warned people to take care of objects installed on buildings that could fly or fall.
Wind: Northwesterly, 7 to 12 knots, increasing to 17 to 22 knots later and reaching 25 to 30 knots at times.
Sea waves: 1 to 3 feet, rising up to 7 feet offshore later.
Temperatures: Maximum 35 ºC; minimum 23 ºC
Humidity Maximum 70 %; minimum 10 %
