‘Energising’ Bahrain and Saudi relations

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has emphasized Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role in overcoming global energy supply challenges.
This came as HRH Prince Salman yesterday met with the Minister of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, at Gudaibiya Palace. HRH the Deputy King welcomed to Bahrain HRH Prince Abdulaziz, who is visiting the Kingdom to participate in the 29th Annual Middle East Petroleum & Gas Conference.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted the bilateral partnership between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia across various industries, especially the oil and gas sector. He stressed the importance of continuing to support innovation in the energy sector through collaborative technological development.
HRH the Deputy King also emphasized the historic ties that unite the two countries, which continue to strengthen due to the commitment of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia, to strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries.
HRH Prince Abdulaziz expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH Prince Salman, and highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting Bahrain-Saudi collaboration.
HRH Prince Abdulaziz wished Bahrain continued success and prosperity. HRH the Deputy King hosted a lunch banquet in honour of HRH Prince Abdulaziz and the accompanying delegation’s visit to Bahrain.
The Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Oil, HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, also attended the meeting.
