HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Quran Prize concludes

The second edition of the late His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Quran Prize has concluded.

The competition was held under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, honorary chairperson of the Al Noor Charity Welfare.

Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa attended the final ceremony on behalf of HH Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

Al Noor Charity Welfare Chairperson, Head of the Prize Permanent Committee, Shaikha Lamia bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa addressed the final ceremony.

In a speech delivered on her behalf by the General Supervisor for Coordination and Follow up, Shaikha Lamia praised the initiative of HH Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for launching and supporting the award.

She paid tribute to late HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, noting in this regard that more than 600 participants took part in the second edition.

Sunni Endowments Council Chairman Dr. Shaikh Rashid Al Hajeri also delivered  a speech paying tribute to late HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

Representative of the ceremony patron Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa then honoured the jury and the winners of the prize in different categories.
