Bahrain Labour Minister inaugurates 13th Gulf Forum for Social Societies and Associations

Bahrain Labour and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan inaugurated the 13th Gulf Forum for Social Societies and Associations under the title “Institutional Networking is a Necessity for Advancing Social Professions”. This came in the framework of embodying the Kingdom’s interest in societal partnership, and strengthening the bonds of joint work among the GCC countries.
The two-day forum aims to shed light on the concept of institutional networking, introduce its mechanisms and basic requirements, and review the most prominent experiences of Arab and international institutional networks working in the social field.
The forum will highlight cooperation and knowledge exchange between NGOs, the stages of building networks for these organizations and their mechanisms of work, and the elements for establishing institutional networking networks to exchange knowledge and information among those interested in social affairs in official institutions and NGOs in the GCC countries will be identified.
