The National Space Science Authority (NSSA), in cooperation with the Orbital Space Company, is organising the 23rd Star Camp Program.

Fatima Al Hammadi, from the NSSA Public Relations, said: “The Star Camp Program is dedicated to students aged between 11 and 18 years.

The participants will head to the US to embark on a new educational adventure in the field of space characterised by innovative educational activities and cultural participation, as well as training participants on leadership and team building.”

The program includes actual training for participants in facilities that are used to train and work for astronauts, such as NASA, the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, and the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Al Hammadi added: “By participating in this unique program, the students will have the opportunity for interactive project-based learning that includes building a sustainable environment, recovery missions, robot programming, designing and launching multi-stage missiles, underwater training and cooperating with work teams to develop international cooperation in this field.”
