Model UN conference organised at NMS-DPS
In a first, NMS-DPS held a Model United Nations (MUN) Conference on October 31 on the school premises for students of Grade VII to XII. About 150 students participated as chairs and delegates representing various countries. Students from Grade VII and Grade VIII discussed various global issues as enthusiastically as students from Grades IX to XII.
The conference was organised by the students of Grades XI and XII. Addressing the students, Principal Arun Kuumar Sharma congratulated them and the MUN Organising Committee. “This is just the beginning.
The school will leave no stone unturned to expand it further to an inter-school level in the future,” he said. The part of the fund raised through the conference will be donated to charity.
Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai and Managing Director Geetha Pillai congratulated the students and the organising Committee of NMMUN 2015.
