Workshop focuses on biological terrorism risks

The Director of Training, Col. Louay Abdul Rahman Abdullah, has inaugurated a workshop on the risks of biological terrorism.
Organised by the Training Directorate in cooperation with the International Affairs and Interpol Directorate of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security and the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol), the workshop was held under the supervision of international experts.
The event is part of the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and targets employees of the Interior Ministry and other ministries.
The Director said that the event was part of the development strategy of the HE Interior Ministry and follow up of the Chief of Public Security to enhance the skills of personnel. He hailed the cooperation with Interpol to enhance awareness about biological terrorism risks.
