Investing in religious events by donating blood reflects volunteering in the national and moral work and the humanitarian duty, Northern Governor Ali Al Asfoor said. A number of institutions and organisations in the private sector supported his sponsorship of a blood donation campaign organised by Buri Charitable Society, during which approximately 82 blood bags were collected and 116 blood donors took part.

The head of the campaign’s organising committee said that assisting others is a national, humanitarian, and religious duty. This is a sign of Bahraini solidarity with the public health system. The Governor also praised the efforts of the campaign organisers.
