The Filipino Writers’ Circle (FilWrite) is now back on track after the Covid-19 pandemic derailed its annual activities.
In a recent FilWrite meeting, founding president Cecil V. Ancheta bared plans to con-tinue holding a “writeshop” for young Filipino writers currently residing in the Kingdom, among other activities.
The meetup also saw the addition of two new members, Engr. Rodel Pomperada and Cynthia Aquino. It is recalled that the group held the first-ever “On-theSpot Slogan/Essay Writing Con-test” for Filipino writers in 2019 in partnership with the Knights of Rizal-Bahrain.
