Al Noor International School triumphs in Trade Quest 2022

Al Noor International School was awarded third place overall in Trade Quest 2022, an Investment Trading Competition, organised by Bahrain Bourse, in a grand award ceremony held on 8 May at BIBF, Bahrain Bay.
Trade Quest is operated as a competitive financial simulation and is geared to provide students with realistic experiences simulating the local and international financial markets. Al Noor School, one among the eleven participating private schools, was ranked first in two Trade Quest 2022 subcategories: Best Financial Performance in the US Market and Highest Return in the US Market.
Bahrain National Holding (BNH) Investment Advisor Mr Abdul Rawanbaksh and School Trade Quest Advisor Mr Deepak Rao, along with Ms Sareena Kelash, the team leader and one of the eight competitors, led the team to success. Remarkably, Al Noor International School was the only school in the Trade Quest program that did not violate any rules by maintaining a 10% cash balance before the trading period concluded.
As a result, the school was ranked first in Risk Management based on sharp ratio and overall ranking. Yasith Chamodya, Nasser Mohammed Ali Nasser, Shaheer Amir, Muhammad Taha Karim, Salah Sami Yuksel, Mishal Basem Ali Ebrahim, and Mirza Ibrahim Beg were the participants who were awarded BD2,000 along with certificates and a trophy by HE Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj the Governor of the CBB.
The school Director, Dr Muhammad Mashood, on behalf of the school received recognition certificate from the Minister of Education, Dr Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, for the remarkable achievement. The School Chairman, Mr Ali Hassan, congratulated the students for their achievement. The Principal, Mr Amin Mohammed Hulaiwah, wished them success in their endeavours.
