Bahrain and Israel hold second joint coordination committee

The Joint Coordination Committee between Bahrain and Israel held its second meeting yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Manama.

Dr Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, headed the Bahraini side as Alon Ushpiz, the Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, led the Israeli side.

Khaled Yousef Al-Jalahma, Ambassador of Bahrain to Israel, Ambassador Nancy Abdullah Jamal, Head of the Strategic Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Eitan Nai, the Ambassador of Israel to Bahrain, and the accompanying delegation, were present.

The meeting reviewed the cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance them in political, economic, social and environmental fields according to the Declaration of Support for Peace, the Warm Peace Strategy, and the activation of bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding.

Alon Ushpiz thanked Bahrain for promoting peace and coexistence among the peoples of different cultures, religions and civilizations, wishing the Kingdom and its people continued security, progress and prosperity.
