His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, well-known for posting candid moments on his Instagram, delivered yet another yesterday for his followers-- the latest being from a fishing excursion.
The picture shows a beaming HH, dressed in bright yellow and white attire, armed with a shining rod in a boat, showing off his catch.
His Highness, known for his fondness and passion for the sea, posted the picture with a caption. "The trip Mb Shan fish.
It's not the fish we're after," the post reads.
And it was an instant hit. The post received viral status in a matter of a few hours.
The picture garnered more than 16,000 likes in less than 3 hours.
There are also several comments in the post.
"Catch of the day," reads a comment. "Someone has been hitting the gym," wrote another.
HH Shaikh Nasser, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, posted similar pictures on social media in the past too.
In a picture posted back in 2019, HH is seen with his catch, wearing a blue shirt and white shorts, during a fishing trip. That picture came with the caption: "Let's catch some fish."
Recently, during the launch of the Al-Hadaq Championship, Shaikh Nasser had termed fishing as one of the heritages that distinguished the people of Bahrain since ancient times.
He said the skill is closely linked to the commercial aspect and contributed to raising the level of the income of those who practise it, which, in turn, is reflected in the national economy.
