Bahrain marks World Environment Day

Bahrain marked the World Environment Day, which is observed on June 5 every year, with the theme “We Only Have One Land”. This year’s motto focuses on living sustainably and sheds light on the need to bring about transformational changes to build trends towards healthier and greener lifestyles.
World Health Day, celebrated under the slogan “Our Planet, Our Health”, urges individuals, societies, governments and organisations worldwide to do their best to overcome the environmental challenges and protect the planet and health this year.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Health affirms its continuous support for all endeavours for environmental goals. World Environment Day is an opportunity to highlight the importance of protecting the environment and promoting healthy cities.
