BDF Royal Guard Cavalry take part in Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee

A group of the Royal Guard Cavalry at Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), led by Colonel Shaikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Khalifa, the Commander of the Royal Guard Protocols and Cavalry Group, participated in the platinum jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
Their participation was in line with the directives of National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, Major General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
This came within the framework of historical bilateral relations and cooperation and their steady growth in various fields in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.
The shows presented by the Royal Guard Cavalry won the appreciation of all as they reflected their high skill and training. They also demonstrated Bahrain’s interest in the equestrian sport and Arabian horses as a deep-rooted Arab heritage and tradition.
