HM King Hamad issues order to reconstitute Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Order 17 of 2022 re-forming the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs:

Article One

The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs will be reconstituted under the chairmanship of Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa and the membership of:

1. Shaikh Abdulhussain Khalaf Al Asfoor as Vice President;

2. Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif Mahmood Al Mahmood;

3. Shaikh Dr. Farid Yaqoub Al Muftah;

4. Shaikh Adnan Abdullah Al Qattan;

5. Shaikh Mohammed Mulla Ahmed Hassan Ali Al Tublani;

6. Shaikh Mansour Ali Hamadah;

7. Shaikh Mohammad Hassan Abdulmahdi Al Shaikh;

8. Shaikh Dr. Suleiman bin Shaikh Mansour Al Stri;

9. Shaikh Jamil Mohammad Ibrahim Hassan Al Qassab;

10. Shaikh Essam Mohammad Ishaq Al Abbasi;

11. Shaikh Jawad Abdullah Abbas Hussain;

12. Shaikh Mohammad Jaffar Mohammad Al Jufairi;

13. Shaikh Rashid Hassan Ahmed Al Buainain;

14. Shaikh Dr. Ibrahim Rashid Al Muraikhi;

15. Shaikh Abdulrahman Dirar Al Shaer.

The term of their membership in the Council is four years.

Article Two

This Order shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette. HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa also issued Royal Order 18/2022, on restructuring the Board of Trustees of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity.

The Board of Trustees of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity is reconstituted under the chairmanship of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, and the membership of:

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa as First Vice President; Taqi Muhammad Al Baharna as Second Vice President; Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa; Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa; Ali Abdullah Al Aradi; Dr Mohammad Ali Al Khuzaie; Ali Abdullah Khalifa.

The term of their membership shall be four years.

The royal order shall take effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
