Bahrain ranks third on the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2022 issued by the Global Competitiveness Center of the Institute for Management Development (IMD) when it comes to women in managerial positions (46%) and women with academic degrees in the age group (25-64) (62%).
The book also has many indicators of women's competitiveness and gender balance, including the percentage of Bahraini women in parliament and boards of directors and gender parity in access to financial services and disposable income.
The book also monitors the progress of Bahrain in many areas, including workforce skills, financial skills, international experience, the efficiency of managers, and others. Bahrain, the report says, is ranked among the top ten countries in 56 indicators.
