Bahrain Radio and Television win 8 gold, 5 silver in Gulf Radio and Television Festival

Bahrain Radio and Television won 13 awards, eight gold and five silver in the Gulf Radio and Television Festival. Winners were selected from 300 Gulf radio, television and programmes by 75 arbitrators in 12 committees.
The festival was held in Bahrain from June 21 to 23 and featured seminars, workshops, competitions and presentations from several companies, artists, journalists, content creators and bloggers. Information Affairs Minister, Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, hailed the festival as a success and commended the outstanding participation of Gulf and Arab officials and media figures.
“The festival this year featured events that focused on important themes and topics related to the radio and television sectors, including the role of the media in strengthening the Gulf identity and addressing the new media, women in the Gulf media, youth and other topics,” he said.
The finale was in the presence of festival top officials, media and arts figures from the Gulf Cooperation Council and Arab countries. Al Nuaimi congratulated the honourees, the laureates and the winners of the golden and silver sail awards.
The head judge Mashari Abdulrahman Al Baijan, from Kuwait, expressed gratitude to Bahrain and the Ministry of Information for successfully hosting the festival.
