Develop electricity and water sector of Bahrain: HRH Prince Salman

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, emphasised that electricity and water is a vital sector that supports Bahrain’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HRH Prince Salman highlighted the importance of implementing strategic programmes that contribute to the development of the electricity and water sector. His Royal Highness affirmed that Bahrain has a bright and skilled workforce capable of overcoming various challenges, and commended their continuous contributions and achievements in driving the country’s development across various sectors.

He was speaking as ge met yesterday with Electricity and Water Affairs Authority (EWA) President Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, and the Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, at Riffa Palace.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulated Kamal on his new appointment as president of the EWA, wishing him success in carrying out his duties. His Royal Highness commended the accomplishments of Kamal in the various positions he has held, as well as the ongoing projects he has supervised, which have been instrumental in stamping Bahrain’s mark on the global stage.

Kamal expressed his gratitude for the trust bestowed upon him, and expressed his appreciation for the support and commitment provided by HRH Prince Salman to the Kingdom’s national workforce who continue to work in the service of the leadership, the Kingdom and its citizens.
