Fully comply with afternoon outdoor work ban: Bahrain Labour Minister

Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan has called for full compliance with the afternoon ban on outdoor work. The two-month ban starts on Friday and all companies and employers have been told to re-adjust their timings to ensure their employees do not work under the searing sun and high humidity between noon and 4 pm, the minister said.
The ministry will be conducting field visits to assess the full respect of the humanitarian measures. Violators will be jailed for up to three months and or made to pay fines ranging between BD500 and BD 1,000.
