The Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) has allocated a fully equipped ambulance to service the Bahraini haj mission for the 20th year in the row. BRCS Secretary General Mubarak Al Hadi explained that a trained cadre of volunteers of the Society accompanies the ambulance heading to serve Bahraini pilgrims in the current haj season, pointing out that this team is ready to deal with various cases that require any kind of emergency intervention.
Mr Al Hadi pointed out that the ambulance allocated by the Society to accompany the official haj mission is fully equipped according to the specifications of the Ministry of Health in Bahrain, with a driver and a paramedic to accompany the Kingdom’s pilgrimage mission. “We are proud that the Ministry of Health has relied on the Red Crescent in this matter and is confident in our ability to take responsibility for serving Bahraini pilgrims,” Mr Al Hadi said.
Mr Al Hadi highlighted the supporting role of the BRCS for government efforts in each location, as part of its work to provide relief and humanitarian assistance, including first aid services either through direct ambulance or through rehabilitation and training.
